From the tiniest sprite to the most colossal wyrm.
Tiny
A Tiny creature occupies a 2½ by 2½ foot space. Examples include imps, sprites, and small insects.
Small
A Small creature occupies a 5 by 5 foot space. Examples include goblins, halflings, and gnomes.
Medium
A Medium creature occupies a 5 by 5 foot space. Most humanoid races, including humans, elves, and dwarves, are Medium.
Large
A Large creature occupies a 10 by 10 foot space. Examples include hippogriffs, ogres, and dire wolves.
Huge
A Huge creature occupies a 15 by 15 foot space. Examples include treants, cloud giants, and young dragons.
Gargantuan
A Gargantuan creature occupies a 20 by 20 foot space or larger. Examples include ancient dragons, krakens, and purple worms.
